What is CR?

CR (Chloroprene Rubber), commonly known under the trade name Neoprene®, is a versatile synthetic rubber offering good weather, ozone and oil resistance combined with excellent mechanical properties.

Properties

• Temperature range approximately -35 °C to +100 °C
• Good weather and ozone resistance
• Good oil resistance
• High mechanical strength
• Good flame resistance

Typical applications

• Industrial seals
• Cable jackets
• Conveyor belts
• Vibration dampers
• Marine applications

Limitations

Not suitable for aromatic solvents or strong oxidising agents.
