What is HNBR?

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) is an enhanced version of NBR. Hydrogenation significantly improves heat, ozone and ageing resistance while maintaining excellent oil resistance.

• Temperature range approximately -30 °C to +150 °C
• Excellent oil and fuel resistance
• High mechanical strength
• Outstanding ozone and ageing resistance
• Good abrasion resistance

Limitations

More expensive than NBR and not suitable for highly polar media.
